At The UCSD Guardian, I focus on designing and managing content for the Sports section, with occasional contributions to Features. My role centers on turning articles into engaging, accessible social media content that helps drive student readership and keep the campus community informed. Every post is created with the goal of expanding our reach and making student journalism more visible, relevant, and shareable across UC San Diego.

I lead the creation of interactive weekly story quizzes, custom graphics, and regular grid posts to promote new articles and events. Every piece is designed in Adobe Illustrator, aligned with the tone of each editorial section, and tailored to resonate with the UCSD student audience.

Since joining the team, The Guardian’s Instagram has averaged 1.1 million engagements per month, reflecting the impact of consistent, creative content. My 22 posts alone have contributed 23.3K views, 16.4K likes, and 118 comments, helping to drive visibility, interaction, and ongoing reader connection with student journalism.
